Designing Motion with Modulated Delay & Freeze FX

Focus: Echoes, modulation rate/depth, audio freezing, movement.

Static samples can easily feel repetitive and lifeless in modern music production. To bring dynamic energy and evolving textures to your arrangements, our sampler integrates an advanced Modulated Delay Engine paired with a real-time Audio Freeze feature.

How to Add Movement Using Delay & Freeze

Creating evolving echo patterns and suspended ambient textures is simple:

  • Configure Modulated Echoes: Adjust Delay Mix and Feedback to dial in classic delay tails. Turn up Mod Rate and Mod Depth to add subtle pitch chorusing and warmth to echo repetitions.
  • Adjust Stereo Delay Width: Spread echo repetitions across the stereo field using the Delay Width slider for wide, immersive effects.
  • Trigger Audio Freeze: Click the dedicated Freeze Button to capture the current reverb and delay tails instantly, sustaining them indefinitely as a continuous background drone.

What You Can Achieve in Your Music

  • Evolving Ambient Textures: Freeze a single chord vocal chop to build custom pad backdrops underneath your main arrangement.
  • Tape-Style Chorus Echoes: Use modulation depth on delay tails to emulate vintage analog tape echo pitch oscillations.
  • Rhythmic Transitions: Turn simple snare hits or vocal shots into rhythmic build-up effects right before main drops.

Turn Static Loops into Motion-Filled Audio

Breathe movement, continuous tail holds, and rhythmic dimension into every sound you load.
